About Me

I have been working since I was 11 years old. I started out with a morning paper route during the summer and before school. I have always had a strong outgoing work ethic, always working as many hours as I could throughout high school and college. I have worked many different types of jobs; movie theatres, grocery stores, wholesale clubs, USPS mail carrier, and now on to my IT and Air Force Reserve careers. I have a learned a lot through my travels and apply that knowledge to my everyday life.In my free time, I enjoy many various things.  Spending time with my wife, traveling, riding my motorcycle, scuba diving, sky diving, any other high adrenaline activity, watching movies, listening to music, working on my house, and playing video games. At Apparatus, I learn to be a jack of all trades. I have been in multiple roles ranging from being on site at a large pharmaceutical company managing an Agile development process though TFS 2010 deployments for SharePoint 2007/SharePoint 2010, to back at Apparatus HQ supporting a large number of clients in a managed services role, to project based work that includes Microsoft SQL Server Deployment Days for SQL server 2012 and setting up a SQL 2008 R2 cluster environment for a high profile application for a hospital.

In my managed services role, I managed client’s whole environment from server creation and migration to application support for: Active Directory, MS SQL, SharePoint, TFS, Check Point, Solr,Apache, Nginx, WebSphere, Backup Exec, and Windows Azure.

2007 – 2009: Application Specialist Associate Autobase Inc., Indianapolis, IN
I worked in a small IT office supporting the company’s Sharepoint 2003/2007, Communicator 2007, Exchange, and Active Directory. I learned and took on the role of programing the company’s ticketing system, BMC Remedy 7.0 and creating custom ad hoc reports with Crystal Reports. Along with managing help desk calls from internal clients.

2002 – Current: Client Support Administrator USAF Reserves, Kokomo, IN
I have been with the 434 OSS/OG group for over 10 years as a 3D071, Knowledge Operations Management. I currently work in the 434 Combat Intelligence Shop, supporting NIPR and SIPR computers. Managing FalconView (GIS), Omni, and mobilization laptops. I also conduct Self Aid, Buddy Care training for my unit on a quarterly basis. I currently hold a Top Secret Security/SCI Eligible Clearance. I have been activated/deployed to Germany, Guam, Turkey. I have also been to England and Hawaii with the military.
